Originally trained as a psychologist, I realised that I yearned to pursue a more creative career, so after completing my studies, I started Domi Interiors. Now, I help homeowners transform their vision into reality, saving them time, money, and frustration along the way.
The name Domi was inspired by the Russian word Dom, which means “home” in my native tongue. Home is where our story begins, and creating a right home captures the essence of what I do.
I simplify the sometimes confusing, often overwhelming, and almost always time consuming task of imagining your space, selecting samples, making design decisions, and pulling it all together.
I cherish the challenge of transforming a tired space, whether it be a single room or an entire house into something that excites and enriches every day.
By using a mixture of colour, furniture, fabric, textiles, layers, and art allows the space to visually capture your personality and style and tell your story.
I love incorporating market finds or antique pieces into each room design and discovering family heirlooms and personal artefacts that add character and ambiance. And I’m passionate about using and positioning artworks to make unique, personal statements.
When I’m not creating joyous living spaces for my clients you’ll probably find me curling up on the sofa with my kids to watch a movie or read a book, walking my beloved pooch, sharing a meal with family and great friends or spending too much money on ceramics and art!
